I love green smoothies. Not only are they full of fiber and nutrients, but they keep me full until lunchtime plus- I get two servings of vegetables first thing in the morning! This morning I made a green smoothie for my boyfriend as well and he loved it, which means it’s good enough to share on here 😉
Note: Don’t be afraid to use too much spinach, I packed my Ninja blender full to the brim but the taste of mango, apple and banana disguises the spinach taste pretty well.
Makes 2 servings
What you’ll need:
- 8 oz mango juice (I purchased organic fresh-pressed from Whole Foods in the juice section)
- 2 bananas
- 1 apple
- 24 oz cold water
- 3- 4 large handfuls of organic spinach
- 6- 12 ice cubes
To make, simply blend all of the ingredients! You may need to add a little more ice water as needed to thin it out, depending on how much spinach you put in. Enjoy!
