This is one of the most refreshing juices on the planet. Watermelon is high in many vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants and it has so many wonderful benefits for your body, including helping with cardiovascular health, energy boosts, soothing sore muscles, stress-relief and more. I’m sure you’ve heard that tomatoes are a great source for lycopene (a powerful antioxidant that helps combat heart disease and cancer). Well, watermelon has the highest concentration of lycopene out of any fresh fruit or vegetable.
Tip: Chill your watermelon before you make the juice for a cold, frothy and refreshing juice! This is hands down my favorite juice on this planet.
What you’ll need:
- 3 cups of fresh watermelon (feel free to use more or less! 3 cups for me made 16 ounces, it’s a very watery fruit so you’ll get more bang for your buck when juicing)
- 1 lime, peeled
Run the watermelon and lime through your juicer and enjoy! (If you don’t have a juicer, buy a seedless melon and blend it in in your blender with the peeled lime. Then strain it through a cheese cloth or a very very fine screen strainer into a glass and you can enjoy it that way also!)
