Simple limeade in a glass makes a nice treat. Half the sugar of regular lemonade, plus vitamins and enzymes from raw lemon and lime. Stock up on limes and lemons at your local farmer’s market and store them in the refrigerator to last longer.
What you’ll need:
- 12 oz cold water
- 1 lemon (I used a meyer lemon from the farmer’s market- highly recommended)
- 1 lime
- 1 tbsp white cane sugar
- Ice cubes
To make:
Cut lemon and lime in half. Squeeze the juice from the fruits into your glass. Using a spoon, remove the seeds from the glass.
Add 12 oz cold water,1 tbsp white cane sugar and some ice cubes. Stir and enjoy!
Never thought of mixing lemon & lime – looks so refreshing! Loving your pics & recipes.
