Do you love a good grilled cheese sandwich? This one was super delicious,plus it’s gluten, dairy and soy-free. Bonus: the bread is seasoned like garlic bread.
Makes 1 sandwich
What You’ll Need:
- 2 slices of gluten-free bread
- 1 slice of Daiya cheddar slices
- 2 tbsp Daiya mozarella shreds
- 1 tbsp Earth Balance Soy-Free Buttery Spread
- A dash of garlic powder
- A dash of dried chives
Spread Earth Balance on each slice of gluten-free bread. Lightly sprinkle a little garlic powder and chives on each piece. Top one slice of bread with a slice of Daiya cheddar and the Daiya mozarella. Top it with the other slice of bread (you want it so that the buttery sides are facing out).
In a frying pan, cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes (you’ll notice the bread on the bottom will start to become golden). To help the cheeze melt, simply press down occasionally with a spatula. Carefully flip the sandwich in the frying pan and cook the other side for another 2- 3 minutes.
Serve with a cup of vegan tomato soup, some fresh fruit or a salad.
