This salsa is wonderful as a dip with tortilla chips, on tacos or on a salad. It’s raw, light and refreshing with a little kick from the jalapeño. Tip: After I made the salsa, I put some in a mason jar and brought it as a little hostess gift for a party. Just an idea 🙂
What You’ll Need:
- 8 organic roma tomatoes
- 1/2 – 1 large red onion (if you love onion, use the whole thing)
- 1/4- 1/2 cup loosely packed cilantro
- 1 large jalapeno pepper (remove seeds to cut down spice)
- 2 limes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- A few dashes of black pepper
To Make:
Chop and dice tomatoes, red onion and jalapeno, put them in a large mixing bowl. Lightly rinse and pat dry cilantro. Remove leaves from stems and measure out 1/4- 1/2 cup loosely-packed (if you love cilantro, use 1/2). Add to mixing bowl.
