Infused Waters: Winter Edition

IMG_5483 copy

Infused water is one of the best beverages in existence. It’s healthy, no sugar-added & really, really delicious. You can mix and match all sorts of different flavors throughout the year, so this edition is what to use in the winter months so you’re using the freshest ingredients.

Since you’re soaking fruits & vegetables in water, I highly recommend only using organic ingredients so you’re not drinking pesticides from contaminated peelings. Another option is to peel your produce first.

Here’s a list of winter ingredients perfect for infused water:

  • Apples
  • Blood oranges
  • Cucumber
  • Ginger
  • Grapefruit
  • Lemon
  • Lime
  • Mint
  • Oranges
  • Strawberries (in season in Southern California)
  • Rosemary (a fresh herb)
  • Tangerines

To make, just fill a large glass or pitcher with your chopped fruits + add water and ice. Refill your glass or pitcher with fresh water all afternoon and enjoy!
