Quick story: I have been working so much at the office (day, night, all weekends) that I haven’t cooked one meal for myself in two weeks straight. Instead of my normal healthy meals, I was drinking large almond and soy milk lattes like it was my job and eating meals packed with preservatives, soy, wheat and not enough fruits and veggies. The result?
A sweet tropical treat.
This juice is light and delicious. Refreshing cucumber will keep you hydrated and help smoothen your skin and hair, while clementines are rich in immune boosting vitamin-C.
Simple limeade in a glass makes a nice treat. Half the sugar of regular lemonade, plus vitamins and enzymes from raw lemon and lime. Stock up on limes and lemons at your local farmer’s market and store them in the refrigerator to last longer.
This sweet & nutty smoothie is full of antioxidants and fiber.
This fresh pressed juice recipe is ultra refreshing and hydrating: cucumber is composed of a whopping 96.7% water and watermelon is 91.5% water content. The ginger adds a refreshing taste and will keep your tummy happy. It’s delicious!
My friend Jenny came over and made me this smoothie, and it turned out incredible (thanks Jenny!) The cucumber and ginger give this smoothie a really refreshing taste… I think it may be my new fave 🙂
This is what I call ‘sunshine in a glass’. Nothing is brighter in the fall than fresh, organic apples and oranges. Enjoy this juice and bring some extra sunshine into your morning 🙂 You’ve heard the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Apples are high in disease-fighting vitamins and minerals, protecting you from alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, cancer, heart disease and diabetes to name a few. They’re also great for digestion, your teeth, your liver, your weight and your eyes! Oranges also fight the above diseases, plus they’re great for immunity (vitamin-C) and the beta-carotine helps prevent your skin!
