It’s a beautiful November day here in Southern California so I whipped up this slushie to energize me for cooking all day (and cool down, it’s hot out today!) It’s super easy to make- only 3 ingredients! But it was really delicious so I figured I’d post it 😉 Strawberries are going out of season but I bought some 3-packs at the farmer’s market recently, de-stemmed and froze them for smoothies.
This beautiful fruit salad makes a lovely dessert, snack or breakfast side dish. It is light, healthy and refreshing on a hot summer day plus it’s packed with lots of energy-boosting vitamins and minerals to keep you going. All ingredients are fresh at the local farmer’s market now, so enjoy them while they’re in season!
Another recipe that is so simple and easy to make, but wanted to post it to share the idea. Strawberries are coming back into season and they’re so flavorful, adding them to your water is another great way to enjoy them! I call this ‘cool aid’ because after the strawberries soak in the water, it becomes a sweet fruit beverage.
