Who doesn’t love garlic and asparagus? I buy mine each week at the farmer’s market to get the best deal- 3 bunches for 6 bucks! This makes a great side dish to any meal.
What You’ll Need:
- One bunch of asparagus (roughly 20 stalks)
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- A dash of pepper
To Make:
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
Rinse and trim bottom inch of asparagus spears. Put on a baking sheet and top with olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Toss ingredients so the garlic, oil, salt and pepper are mixed.
Bake for 10- 12 minutes. Remove from oven and serve! I made little TV dinners for a Saturday night in and paired the asparagus with spicy sweet potato fries, veggie burger patties, BBQ sauce and organic ketchup.
